Today I attended a luncheon in a series here called “Berry Innovators.” Something like that. It was very interesting how the conversation turned toward the end about how great it would be if all these different disciplines (Government, Sociology, Physics, Spanish, Psychology) could have the resources to teach with primary documents. One professor here was talking about this in the context of a gen ed astronomy course (apparently, many papers written by prominent astronomers are actually accessible to the general public).
